Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance the procedural legal literacy and capacity of villagers in Loklahung Village, Loksado Subdistrict, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency, to face legal intimidation and pursue proper procedural channels. The event took place on August 3, 2025 at the Loksado District Hall, involving 45 participants and speakers from Universitas Islam Kalimantan MAB: Akhmad Munawar, Lutfi Yusup Rahmathoni, Sudiyono, Zalila, Helniah Saputri, Ahmad Irpani, Eli Durgawatie, and Eka Hariadi. Post-intervention evaluation revealed an increase in average knowledge scores from 40.2 to 79.6, along with high participant satisfaction regarding relevance and delivery. Short evaluation period and psychosocial barriers remain challenges in converting intention into action. The project recommends sustained mentoring and strengthening of local paralegal institutionalization.
